Uno and a place called Starbucks

Uno- Each player is dealt 7 cards with the remaining ones placed face down to form a "draw" pile. The top card of the draw pile is turned over to begin a "discard" pile. The first player has to match the card in the discard pile either by number, color or word. For example, if the card is a red 7, player must throw down a red card or any color 7. Or the player can throw down a Wild Card. If the player doesn't have anything to match, he must pick a card from the draw pile. If he can play what is drawn, great. Otherwise play moves to the next person. When you have one card left, you must yell "UNO" (meaning one). Failure to do this results in you having to pick two cards from the draw pile. That is, of course if you get caught by the other players. Once a player has no cards left, the hand is over. Points are scored and you start over again.

Starbucks- Starbucks purchases and roasts high-quality whole bean coffees and sells them along with fresh, rich-brewed, Italian style espresso beverages, a variety of pastries and confections, and coffee-related accessories and equipment -- primarily through its company-operated retail stores. In addition to sales through starbucks-operated retail stores, Starbucks sells whole bean coffees through a specialty sales group and supermarkets. Additionally, Starbucks produces and sells bottled Frappuccino® coffee drink and a line of premium ice creams through its joint venture partnerships and offers a line of innovative premium teas produced by its wholly owned subsidiary, Tazo Tea Company. Starbucks' objective is to establish Starbucks as the most recognized and respected brand in the world.

Now put these two great things together and what do you have? Well i will tell you what you have, you have one freakin sweet night of fun and entertainment. Even if people get a little mad because they dont fully understand the rules of uno or the starbucks company makes you try strange and new things that would make a bakery ask what it was, it still is a great time. Tonight the supurfluous seven (Seth, Les, Dan, Amy, Chuck, Jen, and Jake) engaged in one wild ride that was starbucks and uno. Im really tired and don't feel like going into to much detail but if you ever want some fun call one of the supurfluous seven and we will set up the game of the century.

I appreciate the mention in the blog. I can\'t say that I\'m a diehard Uno player, but I do enjoy the company. I always seem to laugh more than usual when I\'m around you guys. Thanks for the chuckles and for listening to my Jamie Cullum.
