On the Road Again

Well folks its about time for me to hit that old dusty trail once more this holiday season. Tomorrow, my dad and I will be heading for the distant lands called Arkansas. Yes, that’s right we are heading to a land filled with water fowl so plentiful you could pluck them out of the sky with your bare hands. So if you haven’t guessed by now my dad and I are going duck hunting, im extremely excited, I haven’t been hunting with my dad since I was a wee lad , so this should be an adventure. I will not return until after the first of the year, just in time to ski circles around all those who come on the youth ski trip to Perfect North. Just kidding, I am really not that great. Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and have a very happy and memorable new year. Much love to all.

ARGH!

This is just me letting off some steam. ARRRRRRRRRRGH! So many things i would like to say on this blog but can't. Im just sick and tired of being sick and tired, you know what i mean? Well, that and other things. I just wish that i would relax and not hold back. I wish that i would be more confident in myself and not read into things all the time. Its hard to change, it really is. I dont know what else to say, im just in an atypical mood i guess. Anyway i think its time for bed.

I am so tired of school, i can feel my stregth and patience ebbing like the tide at the beach. Just think it will all be over tomorrow, everything will be done and it will be time for a break. I think im going to go back to sleep now, because i still have those crusty sleepys (sp?) in my eyes and i can barely see. 3:30 logic final here i come.

whatever and ever

I don't like to type all the time, but tonight im going to tell you of something stupid i did. Why? So you hear it from me and not somebody else who i know is planning to post this. How do i know this you ask, well he (Seth) pretty much told me that he was going to. Anyway, here we are chilling at Starbucks and everyone is saying their goodbyes and what not and we all proceed to the parking lot. Well Les, Seth and i are talking and having a good ole time and enjoying each others company out in the cold. Then we all start acting like we are coughing, but i actually do start to cough and cough untill finally like a wee babe i spit up my pumkin spice late all over my hand and on the ground. Yes i spit up, i did not "vomit" or "throw up" as others may tell you. Talk about being embarrassed, whoa it was crazy. Imediately following the "spit up" incident les and seth run in opposite directions and laugh like crazed maniacs for at least five minutes straight, all the while im just standing there thinking what the heck did i just do. Thats my story and im sticking to it. Stay tuned for more stupid things.

Uno and a place called Starbucks

Uno- Each player is dealt 7 cards with the remaining ones placed face down to form a "draw" pile. The top card of the draw pile is turned over to begin a "discard" pile. The first player has to match the card in the discard pile either by number, color or word. For example, if the card is a red 7, player must throw down a red card or any color 7. Or the player can throw down a Wild Card. If the player doesn't have anything to match, he must pick a card from the draw pile. If he can play what is drawn, great. Otherwise play moves to the next person. When you have one card left, you must yell "UNO" (meaning one). Failure to do this results in you having to pick two cards from the draw pile. That is, of course if you get caught by the other players. Once a player has no cards left, the hand is over. Points are scored and you start over again.

Starbucks- Starbucks purchases and roasts high-quality whole bean coffees and sells them along with fresh, rich-brewed, Italian style espresso beverages, a variety of pastries and confections, and coffee-related accessories and equipment -- primarily through its company-operated retail stores. In addition to sales through starbucks-operated retail stores, Starbucks sells whole bean coffees through a specialty sales group and supermarkets. Additionally, Starbucks produces and sells bottled Frappuccino® coffee drink and a line of premium ice creams through its joint venture partnerships and offers a line of innovative premium teas produced by its wholly owned subsidiary, Tazo Tea Company. Starbucks' objective is to establish Starbucks as the most recognized and respected brand in the world.

Now put these two great things together and what do you have? Well i will tell you what you have, you have one freakin sweet night of fun and entertainment. Even if people get a little mad because they dont fully understand the rules of uno or the starbucks company makes you try strange and new things that would make a bakery ask what it was, it still is a great time. Tonight the supurfluous seven (Seth, Les, Dan, Amy, Chuck, Jen, and Jake) engaged in one wild ride that was starbucks and uno. Im really tired and don't feel like going into to much detail but if you ever want some fun call one of the supurfluous seven and we will set up the game of the century.
